Water is a truly unique substance and the basis of healthy nutrition today. All living things came from it, and there is not a single creature or plant on Earth — not even the most primitive — that is not made of water or could do without it.
80% of the weight of all plants and 70% of the weight of animals is water. The human body is more than 60% water: it is needed for every physiological process and is distributed sensibly across all organs and tissues.








Interesting facts about water!
- A person can live for months without food but no more than two weeks without water, and only a few minutes without air. Since the body holds moisture poorly, fluid reserves must be replenished constantly.
- Water is an essential part of the diet of all mammals.
- If the human body loses more than 10% of its water, it can be fatal.
- Body tissues lose water with age: in infants water makes up 80.6% of the body, in adults 75.9%, and in the elderly 65–70%.
- Losing more than 1% of the body’s water leads to a 10% loss of energy.

The danger of polluted water!
- To feel well, a person should drink only clean, high-quality water. Scientists long ago established a direct link between water quality and life expectancy: according to the WHO, about 80% of human diseases are caused by drinking poor-quality water.
- Tap water contains many mechanical impurities (sand, scale, soil) and chemicals — iron, calcium and magnesium salts that make it hard. Such water settles in the kidneys and gallbladder and harms the liver, and is also a breeding ground for viruses and bacteria.
- Many diseases can be avoided by drinking water that has passed through an effective purification system.

Under-sink flow filters
Two- and three-stage under-sink water-purification systems are very convenient, compact and highly effective.
Depending on the contamination of the tap water, various cartridge combinations are possible.
The “SVOD-BLU” filters not only purify water thoroughly but also have a fairly long service life.
BIG BLUE flow filters and cartridges
Activated-carbon water filters are a universal purification technology, ideal for final polishing. Their job is to remove chlorine and chlorine compounds, organic impurities and unpleasant odours from drinking water.
They are used for industrial wastewater treatment, industrial water conditioning (removing iron compounds, organics and chlorine), water treatment for country houses and cottages, and household drinking-water filtration stations.
Carbon cartridges are part of the pre-filtration stage in domestic reverse-osmosis systems; they are also used as the final purification stage, leaving the water free of harmful organic compounds and pleasant to taste.
