The filter contains a two-part softening cartridge with "SVOD BLU" granular activated carbon.
This filter element is designed for comprehensive water purification:
Stage 1: Granular activated carbon made from coconut shells is designed for the highly effective removal of harmful chemical impurities, compounds, and elements from water. It also improves all organoleptic properties of water: clarity, turbidity, color, sediment, odor, taste, and aftertaste.
Stage 2: The ion-exchange resin reduces water hardness by replacing calcium and magnesium salts, which cause scale formation, with water molecules. This stage softens the water, preventing scale buildup in your electric kettle and cookware after boiling.
