Preparing the pool water
Effective disinfection requires keeping the water pH in range (7.0 to 7.4). Deviations cause a number of problems:
- Disinfectants do not work at full strength
- Corrosion damages the pool equipment
- Limescale forms on the pool surfaces
- Swimming causes irritation of the skin and mucous membranes
Algaecide — against algae and water bloom
Designed to destroy algae in pools and prevent their formation. Has a powerful disinfecting, antifungal and anti-algae action.
Recommended as part of a complete water-treatment routine. Compatible with any filtration units and disinfectants, it does not change the water pH. Safe for human health, and the solution does not damage pool materials.
Pool bowl and waterline cleaners
Cleaning an outdoor pool bowl before the swimming season is fairly laborious. Dirt is everywhere inside: on the bottom, walls and waterline. Contaminants eat into the lining, making cleaning harder.
White deposits are mineral scale, water stone and limescale. Borehole water is often hard, and in the pool it leads to limescale.
Green and rusty deposits, grease stains and oily marks on the waterline are organic substances and metals.
These must be cleaned off before filling the bowl with fresh water. With the dedicated “Silver Life” cleaners you save time and effort.
